It is December now and that means it is time to start selecting the best of 2016. IndieDB has opened up the voting on their platform for their Game of the Year awards. The voting is opened to anyone and everyone to nominate the game they feels best deserves the honor. This initial round of voting is ending on Sunday, December 8th.
Last year it was Space Engineers that took the top honors in IndieDB’s Player Choice Awards. The survival exploration game beat out other top entries such as Undertale, Besiege, and Rocket League to take the 2015 award. In IndieDB’s Editor Choice Awards the final release of Prison Architect stood out as their number one overall best indie of the year.
The early voting is available now for selection to the top 100. Nominate your favorite games from this year to see them in the running for the overall game of the year award on IndieDB. There are over 1000 games in the running, so get your vote in now.
